Leading Industry Standard External Certifications and Validations Offered for the Xceedium GateKeeper™

Xceedium is committed to delivering quality market leading solutions that solve our customers' most challenging issues. In order to deliver on this promise we have instituted an extensive internal and external rigorous testing process. Products are thoroughly tested internally before they are released to the market. Xceedium has invested heavily in capital and human resources for external testing. Listed below are the formal testing certificates and validations that Xceedium has earned.


Common Criteria EAL2 for Xceedium GateKeeper Date Awarded

The Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation (abbreviated as Common Criteria or CC) is an international standard (ISO/IEC 15408) for computer security certification. Common Criteria certifications are awarded by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) is a U.S. Government initiative by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Security Agency (NSA). To achieve an EAL level within the Common Criteria framework, the computer system must meet specific assurance requirements. Most of these requirements involve design documentation, design analysis, functional testing, and penetration testing. The EAL number assigned to a certified system indicates that the system completed all requirements for that level.

FIPS 140-2 level 2 for Xceedium GateKeeper Date Awarded

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) issued the requirements and standards for cryptographic modules for use by departments and agencies of the United States federal government. FIPS 140 guarantees that a module conforming to its requirements is secure.

FIPS certifications are awarded under the Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP) which is operated jointly by the United States Government’s National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Computer Security Division and the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) of the Government of Canada. The use of validated cryptographic modules is required by the United States Government.

Citrix Ready is a product verification program which showcases and recommends solutions demonstrating verified compatibility with Citrix Delivery Center. The Citrix Ready Certification Program is designed for organizations who have demonstrated product and solution compatibility with the Citrix Delivery Center.

Xceedium has embedded the Sun Microsystems MySQL database into its Xceedium GateKeeper appliance. This brings unmatched resiliency and performance to the award winning Xceedium solution. MySQL Enterprise Certification affirms that Xceedium GateKeeper has been tested and confirmed to work with MYSQL.

The Cisco Technology Developer Program ensures that members’ products and technologies have verified interoperability, adhere to strict standards, and offer exciting new capabilities for Cisco joint customers. It ensures that members hold leadership positions in their particular market segments. Cisco and program members work together to ensure that customers receive consistent levels of service and support for interoperable applications. Both groups have direct access to each organization’s technical support facilities to provide timely and satisfactory call resolution.

The Xceedium GateKeeper is certified and supported by RSA in its integration with the RSA SecurID product used for multi-factor authentication. The RSA’s certification programs bring added assurance to customers that the Xceedium GateKeeper solution they are deploying are certified as interoperable with industry leading products, helping them achieve faster time to deployment and lower overall cost of ownership.
